Working at Birchwood Manor is an amazing experience in many ways.  But overall, our Mission says it all.  At Birchwood Manor, the Mission applies to everyone.......residents, families, staff, peers, supervisors.  We strive to have a positive impact on everyone at all times.  You can only imagine with the "mission" at the forefront of our thoughts and actions; the teamwork that can follow makes the work environment one that is fun, cooperative, and rewarding.

For over 4 years, Birchwood Manor held a waiting list for residents AND staff.  But gas prices soaring in 2006 started to impact our ability to offer our amazing work experience to those from surrounding communities.  In 2008 we  restructred a wage scale that would again offer healthcare staff from area communities the opportunity to work at a place where you are taught to have fun on the first day.

We don't claim to be perfect, but we will give it our best as we work together and welcome new staff members to our team.  With our "corporate office" just down the hallway; we know that the decisions made here are for those that are here, every day.  Residents, families and staff have the opportunity to offer suggestions, make recommendations and then participate in the creative training process offered by Celebrate LIFE to bring it all together.
